Earthworks Plants
Forests and woodlands are rich with diverse plant life, and over the past year, I’ve been developing this range to bring a fresh perspective to vegetation in modeling and dioramas. My goal has been twofold: to elevate the realism and creativity of miniature landscapes and to scale everything perfectly for 28mm minis and the familiar diorama sizes we all know and love. Hitting that next level of vegetation has always been my mission, and I hope anyone who picks up these laser-cut plants finds them worth every penny.

A Fresh Take on Diorama Vegetation
Forests and woodlands are rich with diverse plant life, and over the past year, I’ve been developing this range to bring a fresh perspective to vegetation in modeling and dioramas. My goal has been twofold: to elevate the realism and creativity of miniature landscapes and to scale everything perfectly for 28mm minis and the familiar diorama sizes we all know and love. To be honest, I’m not driven by the business side of selling—I’m inspired by the incredible dioramas I see people create every day and by nature itself. These plants are something I want to use in my own projects, and I hope they help take your work to the next level too. Look to nature for reference, focus on what inspires you—whether it’s the layout, theme, colors, or the changing seasons. Personally, I’m a big fan of mossy, old-growth forests, so if these plants fit into that vision for you, then cheers!
A quick note: treat these plants with care! They can be delicate but are sturdy enough not to worry about. I’ve put together a YouTube tutorial with tips and tricks, so check that out. I’d also love to refine these designs with your feedback, so don’t hesitate to share your thoughts. I’ve packed as much as I could into these sets because that’s what I’d want as a customer. In the future, I’ll expand the range, but for now, this collection focuses on a temperate-zone aesthetic.
All the best, and happy modeling! 😊
Notes for First Batch
Hello all you lovelies!
You are my official first batcheroos, Few things id just mentions.
- First is the packaging. I initially had a eureka moment when trying to come up with a tagline… “make it epic” a month or so later when the packaging arrived I found there was a company called “Make it Epic” who do some lovely 3D prints of natural stuff, so to cut it short, Ive spoken to them and they were cool with it and understood though 100% gonna change that for the next batch.
- Im working on some better packaging to professionalise for next batch, if you bought the Shamrock/Wild Garlic the packing is blank and im awaiting stickers for the front!
- Ive been refining all my designs so there maybe a slight inconsistency of designs shapes although in general they do match the order.
- Speaking of inconsistencies, 99% of the plants have come out a treat but they’re maybe a few bits which haven’t come out 100% how I want. Trust me I’m annoyingly a bit of perfectionist so if you get a missing Pina or frond think of it as “that’s how nature is” because it’s true! Im hard at work fixing any issues.
Thanks for being Understanding, watch the Youtube vid for Tips assembling the plants. Smash your projects guys!! One love, Earthy
